World of Terror is located inside a stone staircase at Hart House. The site has a grungy, Medieval Times atmosphere, spiraling down from the elite to the plebeian, and linking the cocktail bar with the banquet hall. The theme park experience mixing equal parts fear and pleasure, is leavened by one's willingness to suspend disbelief, and is rewarded by a delicious artificial terror. The tower houses three electrical bats, their wings casting bleak shadow lines onto the stone walls, waiting for visitors to take the plunge.
